WORLD'S LARGEST CANDY
On West 42 a& Street,
IT'S more than a store opening more than the christ
ening of a new store it's the inauguration of United
Retail Stores Candy Service a service devised to bring
candy lovers and pure, wholesome confections together
on a better basis. This service "takes the twist" out of
the candy business, cuts out in-between profits and ex
penses, eliminates waste, extravagance and useless hand
ling brings directly to the consumer the natural food
products that constitute good candy.
This big store is the first in a nation-wide system o
candy stores and andy. factories which will take the
"high cost of living' out of candy by selling absolutely
pure candy of the highest possible quality, at prices
that lead the procession back to "Before the War"
prices for "Before the War" candy.
The store is organized for rapid but pleasant, un
hurried service. There will be no waiting, no delay
attention will be prompt and courteous.
It is the "Home of "Candy Quality" a great
exhibit of candy' values that will justify the slogan we
have adopted "Happiness in Every Box." It is a
delightful place to visit, with cheerful, we-are-here-to-please-you
service. '
Our candies, made in our own candy kitchens and
chocolate factories by a splendid staff of candy makers,
pledged to produce only the best, will be packed and
sealed at the candy makers' table and delivered fresh
every few hours.
In addition to our general line we have brought the
original recipes and identical candy makers from our
