... re THE SUN AND NEW YORK HERALD, THURSDAY, JULY Iff, 1920. CrOUCh & FitZgerald present this English style collapsible Jit "Bag as atypical example of their "Bench Wrought Luggage, which is made as it has been made for more than eighty years. This Bag is 16 inches long, 10 inches wide at the bpttom, and 14 inches high to top of frame. The leather is selected five ounce cowhide, which was tanned in oak bark liquor, is grained, and is superbly tough and flexible. The frame is of heavy steel, carefully hinged and adjusted. The leather is attached in the old-fashioned, closely hand-stitched way, with pure linen thread, hand-waxed. The seams are finished with strong all-leather welts. The lining is specially woven checked serge, of great tensile strength. The locks and catches are of suitable weight. They are of brass, dull finished, and are affixed with solid brass rivets, by hand. The handles are of Crouch & Fitzgerald design, very easy" to hold, padded with leather, and closely hand stitched. They arc attachcdby broad leather loops, stitched through the sides of the Bag. In addition, each handle loop is secured to the steel frame of the Bag by a solid brass rivet passing through a steel loop which is concealed by the leather. On the inside of the Bag are two full length pockets, to be used for shirts or papers. Opposite this are six pockets of convenient size and shape for holding all essential toilet articles. Six massive brass buttons proteft the bottom of the Bag. Those who enjoy fine craftsmanship mil find Wardrobe T run fa Visiting Trunks, Shoe and Hat Trwiks,.
