domestic peace, social interests, or buslneae profit, many
consent to remain In their churches and give their sup
port to a doctrinal schemc which they do not believe.,
but. contrariwise, know to l>e labe. ro deny thr truth
is to deny Christ, and such people are really denying
their Lord and Master as sliauieiully .is l'eter did. and
it behoves them to remember tne .saviour's word*, "if
any man come to me. and bate not his father and
niother and wile and children and brethren and sister*,
yea, and hi* own lite also, ne cannot be my disciple
