JHCT MS. Second Day of tlie Spring* Meeting at Pimlico. FOUR INTERESTING RACES. Lucifer, Tom Ochiltree, Shylock and Rappahannock the Winners. This was the second day of tho spring most ins of the Maryland Jockey Club, and a more respectable con courso 01 ladies and gentleman never appeared on Pirn llco Course thau was there this afternoon. The throng was great and tho racing soemed to givo univeraul satisfaction. Tho weather was dollghtlal and tho track In good condition. The races were all interest ing and mmo 01 them run In very fair time. There Wero lour evonts on the card?the first a dash ol ono mile, the second two miles and a quarter, tho third one mils and a half and tho fourth mile hears. All wore closely coutesied, and in two Instances the favor ites won. kwkepstakks for thher-vear olds. The Grat race was a sweepstakes, lor three-year-olds that have not won in their two-yoar-old form, ol $25 such; play or pay; colts to carry 100 lbs.; fillies and geldings, 87 lbs.; tho club to add J6C0, of which $100 to the second horse: dash of one utile.
