Sunday the annual Thank offering
service, sponsored by the mission
ary societies, will be observed at
the usual morning worsh:p hour
at 10:45 o’clock. The thank offering
address will be given by Mrs. Paul
Knauss of Marion, Ohio.
Mrs. Knauss is the immed:ate
past president of the Synod of
Ohio missionary societies and is
now a member of the national mis
sionary executive board of the
United Lutheran Church of
America. She recently visited mis
sion churches in the Virgin Islands
and Puerto Rico.
Music by the regular choir will
be augmented with selections by
the Junior choir. Thank offering
boxes will be brought to the serv
ice.
The annual bazaar and bake
sale of Calvary Lutheran Church,
sponsored by Ladies Aid will be
held on Nov. 18th in the church
basement, starting at 2 p. m. in
addition, a saur kraut supper will
be carved from 6 to 7 i0 p. m.
The Altar Guild of Faith Luther
an Church will meet in the church
chapel for their quarterly meeting
on Monday, November, 21st at 8:00
p. m. Election of officers for the
coming year will take place dur
ing the business session. The even
ing will close with the serving of
refreshments to members of the
Guild and Men’s Club.
