Ziegler. Performing the wedding was Dr. M. Wayne McQueen. A recep tion followed at the bride’s home. Mrs. Ziegler is a graduate of Cleveland Heights High School, while Mr. Zeigler, who is a Shaw High School graduate, is now at tending Cleveland College. Miss Nichols is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Joseph C. Nichols of 1639 Rushton rd., South Euclid, while Mr. Parsons, 1819 Vassar ave., is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Clem Parsons of Barnesville, O. D. R. Officiating was Dr. Earl Henderson. Miss Nichols, who was given marriage by her father, wore floor-length gown of ice blue taf feta. styled with a sweetheart neckline, long sleeves and tiered skirt. A shoulder length veil was held in place with a silver head band and she carried a Bible with a cluster of white carnations. in a Miss Patty Nichols, maid of honor for her sister, wore a full skirted gown of gold taffeta, styled with sho^t sleeves and an off-the shoulder neckline. The matron of honor, Mrs. Burrell C. Culp, who was in wine taffeta, carried a co lonial bouquet of chrysanthemums and roses. Miss Nichols’ flowers were similar. Both wore flowers in their hair. Serving as best man was Mr. E. Paul Vidal of Painesville, and ushering were Mr. Car roll and Mr. Earl W. Grear. A reception s. Reed at the a floor followed church. Mrs. Nichols wore length gown of'star sapphire blue crepe with lace sleeves and peplum. The bridegroom’s mother was in black lace, and both wore orchid corsages. The bride was graduated in 1945 from Fenn College, where her father is dean of administration. She is a member of Gamma Nu Sigma, and in her senior year was listed in “Who’s Who” among out standing college students. Mr. Par sons, a L’nited States Navy veter an, attended Case Institute of Technology and belongs to Theta Chi fraternity. Employment Drops For Third Week The 16,712 newly unemployed workers applying for jobless bene fits during the week ending Satur day, November 12, represented a drop for the third consecutive week, Ohio Bureau of Unemployment Compensation Administrator Frank J. Collopy reported today. Collopy-’s statement- was based upon tabulations prepared by the Bureau's Research and ^Statistics Division. The tables are available upon request. The 16,712 claims filed by the newly-unemployed during the week ending last Saturday were some 4, 000 below the number filed during the preceding week and less than half of the 33,739 filed during the week ending October 22. A survey of Ohio’s eight major population areas shows that claims filed by the newly-unemployed for the week ending November 12 were up slightljT in Cleveland. Cincinnati, Columbus, Akron, Dayton, Toledo, Youngstown and Canton all re ported declines from the preceding week.' Some of the smaller communi ties, however, reported increases in the total number of new claims filed during the week. These in cluded Alliance, Cambridge, Chilli cothe, Galion, Gallipolis, Hamilton, Hillsboro, Jackson, Kenton, Logan, Marietta, Marion, Marysville, New ark, Piqua, Sidney, Steubenville, Upper Sandusky, West Union and Washington C.
