She was escorted to the altar by her brother, Charles Hagberg. Her gown had a fitted bodice and long sleeves of Chantilly lace, pearl trimmed and a full flowing skirt of satin and tulle. A full peplum cascaded into the chapel length train. A Juliet cap of Chantilly lace studded with pearls held her silk illusion veil. She carried white Figi mums and ivy. Mrs. George Eaton of CarroL ton, Ohio, a sorority sister, served as matron of honor. The brides maid was Mrs. J. A. Beletic of Edwardsville, Ill. Mrs. Beletic is the former Donna Jean Kelling. They were dressed in waltz length gowns of tulle over taffeta with organdy strapless tops and matching jackets. They carried Cyprepedium orchids. A cousin of the groom, H. George Schultz, was best man. Ushers were Herbert Olson and Gene Brftchert. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. H. K. Ambler of 1732 Col lamere st. The bride’s mother chose a crepe frock in Romance blue with match ing accessories. Her corsage was of enchanted lillies. The mother of the groom wore lime green lace and chiffon and a yellow rose corsage. The ceremony was per formed before an altar banked with white gladioli and white chry santhemums and seven branched candelabra. The family pews wei designated with greens, tied with white ribbon. The same combination of gladio li, chrysanthemums and lighted candles decorated the reception room where supper was served to the guests following the ceremony. Her veil was of illu sion and she carried white rose buds. Her only jewelry was a strand of pearls, the gift of the groom. Mrs. Jean Walters, wearing a gown similar to the bridal gown, in a tiger lily shade, and carrying bronze mums and blue delphinium, was her sister’s only attendant. The best man was Charles Slem mer of Sandusky. Charles Clark of Waterloo, Iowa, and Ted Lucas of Sandusky, ushered. Mrs. Shaw chose a medium blue shantung with navy accessories while Mrs. McDannel was in navy with matching accessories. ’Their corsages were pink rosebuds. The reception was held in the home of the bride’s aunt, Miss Ellinore Shaw, 1906 Farmington rd. where a color scheme of pink and white prevailed in a lovely ar rangement of lighted candles, pink roses and white chysanthemums. A three-tiered wedding cake cen tered the buffet table. Miss Shaw’s gown was navy lace with silver accessories. Proceeding the ceremony lunch eon was held at Crosby’s for the immediate families and the at-* tendants, the later receiving gifts from the ydung couple at thia time.’ For her going-away suit the bride chose a striped mauve with brown accessories. They traveled in the east. Mrs. McDonnel graduated from Shaw High School. Her husband attended Heidelberg College and is employed by the Great Laks* Con struction Co.
