wood in a ten-thirty o’clock cere
mony on Thanksgiving morning
was solemnized the marriage of
Mr. George Todd, member of the
Shaw High School faculty, and
Miss Josephine Zimmer of Lake
wood. A small company of close
friends witnessed the service for
which the attendants were Mrs.
David F. Essi of Lakewood and
Mr. Eugene Hartzell.
Following the ceremony break
fast was served at Cavoli’s.
The couple will reside at 14114
Savannah st.
The men on Shaw faculty gave
a dinner party for Mr. Todd at
which they presented him with a
clock-radio.

Mrs. Nimmo, the former Louise
M. Felus, daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Walter Felus of Galletzin,
Pa., was given in marriage by
her father. She was gowned in
white lace and net, wore a finger
tip veil and carried white rose
buds. Her sister, Miss Rose Ann
Felus as maid of honor wore a
blue ensemble and carried pinnk
roses.
Mr. Nimmo, son of Mrs. Robert

attended by Mr. Earl Smith as

Joseph’s Church. Rev. Fr. Joseph

The bride’s gown was
broidered nylon with a
Anne bodice and a full
skirt blending into a cathedral
length train. A half-bonnet trim
med with lilies of the Valley, held
her finger-tip veil of illusion net
and she carried a bouquet of
orchids and carnations.
Joanne Lacey attended the bride
as maid of honor. She wore a floor
length gown of yellow net and
satin over taffeta and wore a
tiarra of roses. Her bouquet was
of matching roses. Dressed sim
ilarly in aqua were the brides
maids, Patricia Schehl and Linda
Gudites, the bride’s sister. The
flower girls, Lucille Gudites, an
other sister of the bride and Susan
Marcus wore pink and carried
baskets of mixed bouquets.
The bridegroom had his brother,
William Sharp as best man and
ushers were Donald Ramey and
Dennis Manning.
Following the reception at Fos
ter’s Ballroom the couple left for
a short trip to Chicago. The bride
flew to Norfolk, Va., where Mr.
Sharp is stationed with the U.S.
Navy, to spend the Thanksgiving
weekend with him.
Mrs. Sharp was graduated from
Collinwood High.
