Mrs. Walter Clark, matron of honor, and Miss Miss Louise Fenn and Miss Pauline Patterson, brides maids wore similar ballerina length gowns in yellow yard dyed taffeta in princess mode with V necklines. A hipline of harmonizing lace fell over a deeper shade of yellow taf feta. Huge bow sashes gave the finish touch. They carried orchid gladiolius florets. Mr. John Nash was the best man. The ushers were Mr. William Kell and Mr. Charles Brocst. Guests were received at the Lake Shore Country Club immediately following the two o’clock ceremony. The bride’s gown of lace and net had a high neck with a narrow collar of lace with pearl and sequin trim and an ankle length hoop skirt and a long train. The veil was held with a crown of pearls and sequins. She carried an orchid in a wreath bouquet of tiny white flowers. The reception was held at St. Anthony Hall. The groom, a Shaw High and Toledo University graduate is sta tioned at Dugway Proving Grounds, Utah, and the couple left for there, sight-seeing enroute. His bride is a graduate of Ursuline High School. His fraternity is Phi Kappa Phi. Change In Date For their June meeting only, the FOPA will meet a day earlier than usual, on the 20th instead of on the 21st. The change is due to a previous engagement for the use of the American Legion Home, Haw ley Park where the FOPA holds its monthly meetings the third Thurs day of each month.
