EAST CLEVELAND LEADER
In fifteen years the cost of living has sky
rocketed some 57%, taking bigger and bigger
bites from your family’s income. There are
still bargains to be found, however. One of
the biggest is electricity! Since 1946, the
average cost per unit of electricity has gone
down 11%! (You can light this 100-watt lamp
bulb for 10 full hours for around cents.)
Then why is your total electric bill higher?
You may not realize it, but you’re using about
tw/ce as much electricity as you did fifteen
years ago. You’re using more and more elec
tricity simply because it is the biggest bargain
in your home today!
