Hutchinson Wins Saturday.
The ball game Saturday was an
other victory for the Salt Jacks, they
defeating Hoisington 8 to 1. Some
way Hutchinson plays better at home
than away from home, as they are
doing about the same things to Hois
ington they did to Great Bend. The
battery for Hoisington, Saturday,
was varied but ineffectual. Wayne
tried his hand at pitching, but was
taken out and Holme.'put in the box.
Then ' when Holm failed to make
good, Wind was put in, but Hutch
inson had 'em going south, and made
six tallies in the last inning.

For particulars inquire at this office.
Did you ever notice what a differ
ance it makes to walk down the street
with a bright, smiling countansnce,
instead of a sour, hate all man-kind
expression?. When you wear the
happy smile it seems that everyone
you meet greets you in a like manner
and is your friend. But when you
have the "cranks" and do not care to
look your friends in the face, the
disease seems to. become contagious
instantly and even your . best friends
pass with an unfriendly glance. It
surely has a great affect to look
happy, not only on ones self but on
every one you come in contact with.
