COX He has fought with you, and for you in the Past He will fight for you, and you in YOU IN OHIO KNOW YOUR FRIEND Laboring Men at Marion, Ohio, October 16 •ij.. "In this great fight the forces of big business are opposed to us, to you and to me, as they were when we made the fight for a new constitution in Ohio. "Many of them are making large contributions to the reactionary campaign and they do it because they know that under six years of progressive administration in Ohio they had a square deal* and nothing more than a square deal, and the difference between a square deal and what they expect and what in all probability they have been promised is what de^ termines the attitude of big business in this campaign. GOLDEN RULE INVOKED ^Certain of them, are opposed to my position, which is that in the six years of my administration as Governor of Ohio I never nave cast the uniform of a soldier into an in dustrial controversy, nor have we fired a shot to settle a strike. We use in Ohio the Golden Rule instead of the bayonet, and there interests know that in the nation I will use the Golden Rule instead of the bayonet they don't want the Golden Rule they want the bayonet, and that is why they are against me for the presidency of the United States." —DEMOCRATIC EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE.
