This legislation is bas ed on the standard bill for uniform state legislation supported by the Fraternal Order of Eagles and labor organizations. In Wyoming an old age pension bill was this year passed by the legislature, but vetoed by Gov ernor Emerson. The governor ex plains, however, that his veto was prompted only because of an unusual amendment inserted in the bill which it is believed would make it unconsti tutional, and that he will support at the next legislative session a bill that is in its "proper form." ta ttt ma B® As a defender of the old feud a order in modern history, Gary was baron of dignified mien and doubtles of sincere conviction. It is often heard said that when dog bites a man that is no news, but when a man bites a dog that is real news. And so it is with the picnic committee's announcement It is nothing unusual to meet a hum^ with but a dog mind, but to see a dog with a human mind, why—that is something different again. But so it is always with our Labor Day pic nic committees, ever striving to give the public something different, the newest and latest in entertainment The "Dog With Human Mind," no doubt, will attract much attention at the big picnic Labor Day. to to to A MONARCH PASSES ON Judge Elbert H.
