India accounts report increased crops this week. A Calcutta circular, for in stance, of March 14tb says: "The large dimuuition in exerts of cotton is not, in our opinion, attributable to a smaller crop, but rather to the unfavorable po sition of Bengal staple in the home markets this ysar, which hits caused buyers to operate cautiously, and to the low prices ruling, which huve induced the natives to hold back their cotton iu the interior. All reports concur in stating that the yield of this crop will be fully up to the average, and as large as the last; we shall, therefore, probably have supplies all the season, whilst last year the shipping season was virtually over by the end of April." The Chron icle remarks: "We see that the receipts at Bombay from the last of February up to the present time have been 373,000, agaiust 267,0C0 bales for the same weeks of last year, while the exports have only been 276,000 bales, against 309,000 bales in 1872. It would appear, there fore, that the stock on hand at Bombay must have increased 97,000 hales since March l"t, while during the same pe riod of 1872 there was a decrease of 42, 000 bales. This increased stock, to gether with the further fact that the India cotton even now afloat to all of Europe is 349,000 bales, against 457,000 bales, indicates that soon the supply of this description of cotton is likely to be fully up to if not in excess of last sea- sou. gage 18: Hi-- Mis-iitt mortgage, irkan-is levee bonds, co.ro.v renort New York Jc .1 iwn lic; Liverpool dull at 9ta9c, to v 'deli it" tell yesterday ; New Orleans Vj c In f'ur market there was no pos- il.ilitv of ii'diiif. any amount oi ousiues.-, veil bad the teiegra iug instead of the J li lit in the morn hi in, which has couoi med Tw ".i:-:, l lu.biw. i early vious f Tlie fu Invert.
