Haverly's talented band of minstrels continue to advance In publlo favor at every performance, and their audiences increase in number, while the ladies turnout in force each evening. Lbs night at the Memphis Theater there was quite a full aud fashionable bouse, and the "ladies of society" crowded the dresss-circle, and even invaded the par quette. There was an entire change of programme, aud the bill of fare of last night comprised many tit-bits," in part ballad aud solo singing. Several of the good old plantation melodies, that used to delight young and old previous to ;the late srtugi;le were introduced. Particular mention may be made of Mr. Barlow's "Juba," which had all the smack and melloivue.-M of the olden times. It was inimitable, and was re ceived with a perfect burst spontan eous cheers. The Calif.tm a Quartette club Introduced the good ola p-jwt soug of Comerohcrc my Love Lies Dreaming, and from the hearty encore with whicn it was greeted, it wt s evident that the quartette had lost none of the charm of former days. Mefsrs. Freetb, Dixon aud Welling. were all in splendid voice, and rendered the ballads set down for them with exquisite taste and feeling, while Messrs. Barlow and Wilson inter spersed the first part with comic songs, comic s'ories, and comic sayings and doings that were excrutiatingly funny. The olio was full of good things, with Primrose and West in their silver-shower clog; and the entertainment, a most pleasing one, concluded, with Morris's very laughable sketch of the Employ ment Office. To-night auother change of programme and another big house. ADDITIONAL MARKETS. lit l-KLKUAArn GALVESTON, January 20.
