Inspectors Will Instruct Business
Men in Meaning of Plan -
A campaign of education to Impart to
merchants and business men generally
the real significance of "llghtless nights"
and how they are to be carrjed out will
be undertaken by the eighty-two Inspec
tor who look after violations of the
ruling. .
The next "lightness night" Is on Mon
day and between now and then Thomas
Lahady, who superintends the enforce- ,
ment of the plan, believes the Inspectors
will have an opportunity to explain It
to all In their respective districts and
that there will be no violations.

to the plan this week, he said, did not ,

co-operation when the Inspectors ex

To the Tolnt Breeze Amusement Com
pany, operating an amusement park In
South Philadelphia, goes the honor of
making the greatest cut In lights, he
announced The company cut the elec
tricity ration bv about 8000 lights.
Some parts of the park were so dark
last night that Inspectors ordered the
relighting of some lamps.
WOMAN KILLED BY TRAIN
.Malianoj rlty, Pa., July 26. Mrs.
Isidore Myers, the mother of five sons,
three of whom are serving the army,
was Instantly killed on the Heading
Itallvvny track while walking to her
home In Ollherton from a visit to friends
in Maizevllle.
The body was found at the foot of an
embankment by miners going to work
early this morning. She was seventy
five years old
