Flying 8 Welcomes Plane Enthusiasts The Flying “8” Club held its monthly meeting this week at the home of member Glenn Davenport. After a short business meeting, members present welcomed Bill Poland into the organization. The Flying 8 Club was started to promote an interest in flying and to enable members to acquire pi lots licenses. Next meeting is set for October 23 and anyone interested in the club is asked to contact Dick Hen sel, Glenn Davenport or Herb Downing. Applications for mem bership will be received up to Oct. - - COMMUNION BREAKFAST Ladies of the town Altar Society have been invited by members of the Base Society to attend a Com munion breakfast at the Chief’s Club, Sunday, Sept. 30.
