We have so many affairs to look forward to. ..There is the Peter Pan Nursery school’s fashion show. ..next Saturday, Feb. 4 at the Mayfair ballroom And at the same place, on the following Friday evening, the Detroit branch of the X. A. A. C. P. will hold its brilliant dancing party \lso on Friday night. Feb. 10 is the Playboys Guild semi-formal party at the Frogs club . Oh, it is the first anniversary of the Playboys Guild . . . .And of course, we all have in mind the Jabberwock ... to which we look forward ... from one February to the next.. . Sunday afternoon, all of the gayer crowd was on hand. . . at Club Plantation. to •■!:>,.>• the first Hide Hour of 1939 ... and a . -ion R was ... With Joe Johnson presenting his “Brown Rhapsody".. . (a show that has a lot. . . and a lot of what it's got. . and every bit of it red : hot). . Anyhow, ’twas one of the best shows in moons.
