The Home and Dorcas are busy sewing, visit ing various homes, investigating educational problems in the schools, and the Delinquent committee is doing a splendid piece of work in the courts. Plans were discused for the Coun cil's annual banquet which will be held. March 23. The next meeting will be held March 6. and will feature a speech on “High Blood Pressure” which promises to be quite interesting. The public is Invited. TABERNACLE SCENE OF TEA I Tabernacle was the scene last Sunday afternoon of a delightful tea given by the Young Matrons’ c!ub of that church marking their second anniversary. Yellow roses against the immaculateness of a white cloth rendered the tea table exquisite. Mrs. Arnetta Evans, presi dent, and Mrs. Martha Jackson, secretary, popred tea. Despite a heavy snow the func tion was well attended and the quite entertaining program ren dered, with Mrs. Gustavia Lawrence as mistress of ceremonies, was en joyed by a goodly number.
