E. Thomas Sr young Alt. was very attentive to the stately Bousfield lass....we thought her charming. ..the air of being to-the-manner-bom, seemed very much a part of her... .she is ta11... .even the "Gad dings.” who could never be called a midget, had to look up to her.... . Her hair is long, brown and wavy and she wears ii ala the duchess of Windsor The other visitor, who | seemed to have succumbed to the iron clad tins of Le •’Flicker” Harris. .. .was very tiny. , . .sort of the clinging vine type. . .and "Flash” w : as letting no grass grow | when we saw them, which was all day... .Monday and! Tuesday. * * * Sam Thomas seems to be directing his attentions to Margaret McCall these hot summer days. * * * "Trudy" Jackson and Charlie Cole remain as close as A is to B but she tells us that rumors, naming them as a marriage threat are untrue. We have a card from Lucinda Murtishaw who Is doing all right in New York she says Charlie Clark of Toledo was over for a week and not long ago The Claude Coopers write us that they are relaxing, mast much at Idlewild * * * The Taliaferros’ new home on Alger... .will be air con ditioned They will be moving in any day now. Margaret Graham is very ill in Henry Ford hospital Edythe Johnson came home from the Fourth of July picnic at Midwest, and went right to bed, under the doctor’s care. She is very little improved at this writing. * * * Juanita Parker is back in town for the summer from Chicago, where she attended school last year. * * * Mr and Mrs Herman Haynes of Roanoke, Va are visitors of the past week Mr. Haynes is the brother of Mrs. Alf. Some of the guestts included the “Yard Dog Club,” Van Moseley, president: the Detroit Business Men, John Woodward, president; Bloc Ribbon club, Mrs. Lillian Smith, acting president; Volkema Sport ettes, Alberta Moore, president; and other*. The group also recently enjoyed a successful fashion review and dance and is now making plans for a dance which will be held on Au gust 14.
