Choral Group Plans Musical At The Shell I Attempts are being made by local ! music aggregation in the city to | secure the Belle Isle for the sponsor ship of a program which will be held the evening of Saturday. Augu.st 19. This evening program will con ! elude a day of picnicking of sev eral outstanding choral groups in cluding Unity Baptist choir, Messiah Baptist, Corinthian, Mt. Beulah. Rr.tliffe Symphony, and the “Y" Glee club. Hourly recreation features have been planned and each choral group present will be identified by a col ored banner. The effort is an at tempt on the promotions committee to bring into a closer understanding, the various musical groups within the city so as to plan a more ef fective program of music activity.
