LOUIS, Mo.—An appeal has been made here thia week by the local branch of the NAACP for citi zens to yrite letters to the three main department stores in down town St. Louis for permission for Negroes to be served in the store cafeterias. The NAACP also carried Its ap peal directly to the March on Wash ington unit for its assistance also in this fight. T. D. McNeal, speaking for the March movement, stated that the committee would write asking for this consideration and also stating that they are not in favor of a seg regated place but rather asking for Integration.
