SATURDAY, KfUff *TI, W4S Zonta Club In Fashion Revue By GLADYS MILLS The Zonta club of the Office of the Chief of Ordnance of Detroit, sponsored a Spring Fashion revue Sunday -ftemoon in the beautiful Club m. The show was appropriately called “Mannequins of 1945. Along Fashion Avenue." Miss Helen T. Wilson was director and commen tator. • • • THE SHOW executive commit tee included June Pettiford. who was assistant director; Janet L. Benson, chairman of the models; M nnie f are. chairman of decora tions; Lucille Campbell, tickets; I.essie Lee Davis,. entertainment, and Nancy Polk, publicity. Cora V. Chism, who sang be tween scenes, is recording secre tary; Rosalee Peters is treasurer; Helen Redmon, civic chairman; Nellie Adams, membership, and Elizabeth M Turner, educational chairman. Miss Wilson is presi dent of.the group. Prizes were given for the three be>t mannequins, as to poise, grace, giooming and costume. Jeanne Hill Langford won first prize. Martha Minnion. second, and Grayce Sad ler. third Judges were Eddie Swan of the FEPC: Mrs.'Helen Cartsensen of Employee Relations OCO-D; Mrs. Margaret Drischler. Dr. James Catchings. The tea was sponsored by the Mothers' club of the Peter Pan Nursery.
