It weakens the body, racks the nervous system and may ulti mately lead to complete loss of power. Many have Varicocele who do not know it. Like certain other delicate diseases, its character istics are not generally known, and often a victim of Varicocele and its complications does not know he is afflicted until he feels the debilitating weakness which it causes, in fact, many men suffer from nervous debility, debilitating drains, discharges and loss of vitality, weak, ach ing backs, pains in the chest and limbs, disor ders of the stomach, heart, kidneys and bladder, who do not realize the cause. If you have Varicocele' weakness or undevel oped organs, causing a decay or decline of the manly powers, you should at once consult Dr. Cole. Do not be afraid to call. Several years ago, the writer of this, who has sperit much of his life in the tropics, thought he was safe from sunstroke. One day he collapsed, remained unconscious for five hours, and at times his life was despaired of. As a matter of fact, any person whose stomach and bowels are in bad shape in the sum mer time, is liable to be sunstruck in tem perature that would be harm less under normal conditions. Real5 Estate 'OLD GUARDS" IDEAS Two of Them Compare Minneapolis Publio Spirit Then and . Now. They Agree That It Is Not Dead, but May Be Dif- ferent Public spirit means much to the real estate men of the city Public spirit brings the citizens together on all necessary points, re sulting in the advancement of its interest and in the bringing to the city of additional enterprises and more persons. In turn this acts on the real estate market in the sale of Industrial sites and the transfer of homes and home sites To-day the real estate board and its mem bers bear a certain relation to the growth of the city which was sustained twenty-five years ago by the "old guard." This term means something definite The old guard was made up of public spirited citizens who held together on all things pertaining to the public's welfare If a scheme failed they went down together. If it succeeded it was becaus.3 of the combined efforts of those old timo civic patriots. Several of the old timers af% still living hero and they maintain the old attitude to the city and its interests. Some aver that this public spirit is dead. Listen to what two of the "old guard" say. The Second Generation's Obligation. George A. Brackett does not bellove public spirit is dead in Minneapolis, but is con vinced that it is merely different. He realizes fully that the Minneapolis of tc-day is a dif ferent proposition from the Minneapolis of twenty-five years ago when evorybody knew everybody else and all were just begin ning to rcaJiaajtbe possibilities ahead of the town. Ih the Wg", busy city of to-day it is impossible to have such intimacy and sym pathy among the business men, but at the same time Mr. Brackett thinks there is one class which is under obligations to do more public work than it is now doing Mr. Brackett made this point in an after din ner talk at the Hotel Nicollet last spring and he gave it further emphasis the other day in conversation "I don't think the sons of the prominent men of other days are doing as much as they should for the city," said Mr. Brackett "It was here that their fathers made the fortunes which now enable these younger men to live easily with their afternoon golfing, their automobile* and their long pleasure trips. Many cf them are good business men, but I believe that the obligation to look aftei the citys best interests has come down to them as a sacred heritage. Their family names are inseparably connected with the history of Minneapolis and it should be a pleasant duty for them to preserve and pro mote the work of their fathers. In a way they should regard Minneapolis with pride as a sort of a family monument and that conception would certainly be a good thing for the city. The Ofd "Pull Together."
