The bride is a daughter of Mrs. Daniel B. Jackson. She graduated from the uni versity with the class of 1903 and taught for a short time on the East Side. The Chicago elub women sent sixteen huge packing cases filled with clothing to San Francisco last week. The fed erated clubs joined in the collection and the merchants aided them by allowing their delivery wagons to make the cof lections. A permanent committee was anointed and in addition to furnishing immediate aid, the members plan to .help the women wage earners, who will be out of employment. It was suggest ed that the women's clubs of the country might form a big national woman's exchange to purchase the handiwork of San Francisco women who cannot find occupation. The com mittee will remain actiw as long as there is any necessity for help of any sort in San Francisco. Ramblers Will Meet. Beport of the remarkably successful canvass for money was made yesterday, togeth er with the statement that the cam paign would be -prosecuted with vigor, and that additional forces would be se cured for this work. Notice has been given to tenants of the procathedral property at Sixteenth street and Hennepin avenue, to vacate Aug. 1, and excavation for the founda tion will begin not later than Sept. 1. It is possible that the work will be far enough along for the laying of the cor ner stone this fall. The several tentative plans submit ted by Architect E. L. Masqueray for the procathedral have been gone over carefully by the plans committee and returned to him a New York, with. recommendations. Soon after the return of Archbishop Ireland in May, ft is expected that the revised plans will be ready for accept ance.
