I i 'W^S Railroads BEGINS SUMMER EXCURSIONS Minneapolis and St. Louis Line Seduces Bate to Sunday Travelers. i %ae Minneapolis & St. Louis and the" Iowa.Central roads will begin their an nual series of summer Sunday excur sions May 13. Each year the special rates granted for these excursions have raxes granteci ior xnese excursions nave awnings, tents and shades. 211 Hennepin brought thousands of strangers to the _"- city from Illinois, Iowa, South Dakota and Minnesota points. The excursions leave initial points Saturday nights, ar riving in Minneapolis the following morning. Practically all the passenger equipment of the two lines is employed in hauling the excursionists. At times as many as twenty-five cars are used on one train, and from 3,000 to 4,000 per sons are hauled each Sunday. For all the Iowa Central excursions and the St. Louis excursion from Pes Moines, tourist sleepers will be attached to the trains. First-class day coaches will constitute the other trains. In the schedule given below the rate applies^ from the initial point, with a gradual' reduction from intermediate points, ac cording to distance from Minneapolis.
