Doctrinal Sermon to Be Preached by Eev. E. B. Wiltbank of Olivet Church, MinneapolisSplendid Progress Made During the Year. Special to The Journal, Anoka, Minn., May 9.The Twin City Baptist Association of Minnesota, which was formed here yesterday by the consolidation of the Minneapolis Baptist association and the Eastern Minnesota Baptist association, will hold its meeting next year with the Wood land Park church of St. Paul. The doc trinal sermon will be preached by Eev. B. B. Wiltbank of Olivet church, Mm Minneapolis. His alternate is Eev. C. J. Triggerson of Immanuel church, Minneapolis. The annual sermon will be preached by Eev. W. E. Clark of Northfield, with Eev. L. M. Waterman of the First church of Minneapolis as his alternate. The annual meetings will be held on the first Taesdav in May. Eev. E. M. West of St. Paul, is the new moderator Eev. G. F. Holt of Minneapolis, is secretary and treasurer. The East Bethel church was received into the association this afternoon. Ernest Fagenstrom of Minneapolis, re porting for the evangelistic committee, said the year had been one of many conversions. The increase to the church by baptism was 60 per cent more than last year. The increase by letter was I 12 per cent more than last year. The principal address this afternoon was made by Eev. E. E. Pope of Minne apolis. An interesting discussion which I closed the forenoon's program was led by Eev. W. B. Eiley, also of Minne apolis. The speakers this afternoon '-were Rev Messrs O. A Williams and E. B. Wiltbank, both of Minneapolis. I The total enrollment of members in the thirtv foui churches in the associa tion is 7,024 number of Sunday I schools, 36, with an enrollment of 6,606 total amount of money raised during I the year, $93,730.62 total value of church property, $718442. i Last evening Rev. E. N. Martin of Woodland Park church, St. Paul, preached the doctrinal sermon. He was followed by E. Fagenstrom of Minne apolis, who spoke on "New Ideals in Sunday School Work." The inspectors kept nine postal clerks, including Luck stone, for eight hours in a room in the federal building after telling them that they would not be released until infor mation of the money was forthcoming. Luckstone said he was weak from hunger, entered another room by the excuse, and tried to end his life by cut ting his throat and wrists. He did not severely m-jure himself and was arrest ed. The Chemical National bank is the loser thru the disappearance of the money. AUTO CRASHES INTO GAR 1 DEAD, 2 DYING Cleveland, Ohio, May 9.As a result of a collision between an automobile and a streetcar at Scoville and Wood lawn avenues just before midnight, E. B. Robertson, chauffeur, is dead, and Holbert Bonne and Fred Chambers are fatally injured. The dead man and those who were in jured were in the automobile, which carried six men. The machine was go ing at a high rate of speed and vcrashed into a streetcar which was standing at the corner. The machine was wrecked. No one on the streetcar was hurt. Two men wno were in the party and who escaped seriouB injury ran from the scene and their names are not known to the police. The accident, it is supposed was caused bv the chauffeur's losing con trol of the automobile. BANK CLOSES ITS DOOES.
