LOYESICK WOMAN'S BULLET HITS WATCH Journal Special Servioe. Denver, Col., June 28.-The love of Mrs. Tudor Kearns of Chicago came near causing her to become a mur deress Tuesday when she fired a shot at William H. Eader, who had repeat edly spurned her. The shot imbedded itself in a watch in Eader's pocket, Mrs. Kearns came here a month ago and at once wrote a letter to Eader, telling him that she had fallen in love with nim thru reading his stories con tributed to a Chicago magazine, of which her husband is one of the editors. Eader ignored the note. He has a wife and two children and repeatedly declined to enter her auto mobile and receive her attentions. To his request to "pass him up" the woman would reply, "Never you know my love, and I will neveT give you up.'' Yesterday he again spurned# ner, when in an insane rage she whipped out a revolver and fired the shot. Tie fell, and supposing she had killed him, she fled. The police have not found her. "li NIGHT OR DAY Wfth Irritating Skin HumorWhole Body AffectedScalp Itched All the Time and Hair Began to Fall OutWonderful Result From APPLICATION" OF CUTICURA REMEDIES "1 am never without Cuticura Soap and Cuticura Ointment since I tried them last summer. About the latter part of July my whole body began to itch. I did not take much notice of it at first, but it began to get worse all the time, and then I began to get uneasy and tried all kinds of baths and other remedies that were recommended for skin humors but I became worse all the time. My hair began to fall out and my scalp itohed all the time. Espe cially at night, just as soon as I would get bed and get warm, my whole body would begin to itoh and my finger nails would keep it irritated, and it was not long before I could not rest night or day. A friend asked me to try the Cuticura Remedies, and I did, and the first appli cation helped me wonderfully. For about four weeks I would take a hot bath every night and then apply the Cuticura Ointment to my whole body an I kept getting better, and by the time I used four boxes of Cuticura I was entirely cured, and my hair stopped falling out, but I continue to use the Cuticura on my scalp. It keeps all dan druff out ana scalp always clean. I always use Cuticura Ointment on my face after shaving, and have found nothing to equal it. I will never bo without it" D,E.Blankenship, 819 N. DeL St., Oct. 27, 1905. Indianapolis, Ind. NHB 1 0 IL IIB I have used Cuticura Ointment for chafing of infants, and as they grew older all skin diseases were given treat meat with that and the Cuticura Soap. I never found it necessary to call a doc tor, as these Remedies area sure cure, if used as directed. I am glad to recom mend them to all mothers." Sincerely yours, Mrs. F. A.
