negroes. were found guilty of stealing
automobile tires from J. W. Kong and
Mack llolt. and given a scritenco or
three vears in the penitentiary.
The case or W. T. Uoswell, the young
white man charged with shooting and
dangerously wounding John Smith, a.
negro, on the might of November 15, was
continued in the Police Court this
morning until December 5 on account,
of Smiths inability to be present.
Smith is still in the hospital, but Is
rapidlv recovering.
