THE results of printing arc often dam aged by the use of unsuitable paper. We have a series of books on the sub ject of selecting the right paper intelli gently, not hit-or-miss. They are definite and instructive. They give the reasons and show the practice. They arc interesting and they show how to get results. Everybody who gets out printing should study the questionnaires that appear in each book, showing how to analyze a printing problem. "Making It Easy to Plan Printing" is the title of the series. If you need these books, you can have them. S. I). W A ft REN COMPANY, Boston IVarren's Standard Printing Papers are sold by B. W. That's a question every shipper of freight knows by heart. lie has asked it and had it asked of him a thousand times. There is one variation td that question. It is "When will THEY get it?"?when you are making the shipment. No matter which question was asked, the answer was always the same: "I cannot toll you exactly. It will have to go by freight." You will notice I said "was." It is different now, and the Richmond-New York Steam ship Line has made the differ once. Those ships leave Rich mond and New York EVERY Wednesday and Saturday, and j arrive at their destinations two days thereafter. The Richmond-New York Steamship Line has made shipping between those two points more dependable than it has ever been before. The rates are low?water rates always are. There is not a merchant in Richmond but can use these facts to advantage. Not all merchants are using the boat lino, however, and this we at tribute to the fact that its really great advantages have not been called to your atten tion. Wo are. thorofore, tak ing this opportunity of doing just that. Moreover, the Richmond New York Steamship Line would welcome any criticisms or suggestions for the better ment. of the service. They shall receive due attention and be put into effort if it is at all possible to do so. We are bore to serve you ..nd to save you time and money. Inquire into the rates. They will interest you. This is your line, and what is more interesting than that even, it is a growing business. The tonnage has increased 40,000 tons in the last year. Hundreds of merchants and shippers are using it. How about you? Watch for those sto ries of the Richmond New York Steamship Lino every Tuesday and Friday. S. A. OVKN, General Manager.
