Last night the Baltimore and Ohio,

a solid mass of trains, Pullman coaches
stood where usually nothing but box cars
and freight trains are stationed
During the day over 10,000 troops, cadets.
and militia poured Into the freight jards.
Practically all were headed by bands,
and many marched through the streets
with full camping outfits oer their
shoulders, knapsacks, on their backs,
and guns to their shoudders. Practically
all the militia Is now In the city. Tour
solid trains of Marj land guardsmen from
Baltimore arrived last night. Many of
the troops and civic organizations are
quartered in their trains on sidetracks In
the freight jards

the sentence of William Montgomery,
of Pittsburg, Pa Kovoloff was convicted
of perjurj
Steele, grandson of Thomas En in?.
Ohio's famous warrior, as sentenced
to thirteen months Imprisonment for
blackmail He evaded bond and went to
Canada, later on applying for pardon,
which the President granted yesterday
because he Is in impaired health and
age
Montgomery cashier of the Allegheny
county National BanK, was convicted of
embezzlement. He was sentenced to fif
teen years In Jail It was shown that
Montgomery's crime waa not attended
by moral turpitude and that he had not
benefitted financial!). He will be released
from pri"on March IS.
