I h ive examined and am now usiag a pair of the crvsto! ine, miniscus glasses, purchased of frof. Gedeon. They aie constructed upon strictly philosophical principles, and, froi.i several considerations, are not surpassed, it' equalled, . Ly any I have ever seen. i The concavo-convex form of the Menses resembling the anter.or arrangement of the human eye, collects a larger number of rays than could be conveyed upon the retin i from ordinary glasses of Iht same focal power, and thus in creases the distinctness of vision. The size of the glasse.-, also, gives a greater field ot vision with less muscular ac tion.
