E. B. Harper, and other officers. The paper now says "The Mutual Reserve was. we believe, the pioneer in this movement of providing reserves to cure the evils that have heretofore afflicted the system of assessment insurance, and its phenomenal success certainly shows that the plan is popular to a very considerable extent and is an evidence of the skill and ability with which its affairs are conducted. That Mr. Harper and his associates are conducting the business oj>cnly and fuirly, inviting investigation. and are developing a system that they believe to be the true system, there can be no doubt.
