VALBNTIA, Spain, September 1(5, 10TOV A case of insubordination occurred re cently in the Mallotca refitment, quartered in the San J pan de la Ribera barracks. It is stated that the affair arose from a disciplinary question between the officer on guard arid the regimental sergeants. The authorities show considerable reserve regarding the character of the dis turbance, and it is very difficult to obtain reliable information. It is known, how ever, that from twenty to. twenty-Ave sergeants have been placed under arrest, and that a court-martial has been opened. Senor Barrcso, minister of the interior, says that the war minister believes that the affair is of no political importance, that the insubordination was immediately quelled, and that the matter only affected the regimental discipline. On the other hand, the newspapers all express sur prise that in spite of the alleged unim portance of the affair the uovprnment has kept all information about it from the public.
