The bridge is of sufficient strength for the loads carried upon it. but the width is not sufficient for the demands of traffic, the District heads assert. Attention is directed in the report to the fart that the Secretary of \\ ar has jurisdiction over the substructure of the bridge. The report of Ihe chief of engineers of Uie United States Army for the fiscal year 1&12-13, it is stated, contains a recommendation that an appropriation of $10,000 be made for an investigation and preparation of plans for a bridge adequate to meet the traffic demands made upon the present one. The Commissioners say they do not consider th?r the I'rantinf v.ovmit to the Washington and Old Dominion Company to install overhead wires on the bridge entaife danger to the public, but that, on the contrary, the public should be benefited by the increased facility in handling cars at the terminus of the road at 36th and M. streets northwest as the result of the new arrangement. I As a specialist who has spent many ! i! years in the study and treatment of atom- jj aeh troubles, I have been forced to the |! ; j| conclusion that most people who com- i| ! plain of stomach trouble possess stomachs j that are absolutely healthy and normal. I The real trouble, that which causes all the j pain and difficulty, is acid in the stomach. i ;! usually due to. or aggravated by, food I fermentation. Acid Irritates the delicate ' lining of the stomach and food fermentation causes wind Which distends the stomach i, abnormally, causing that full bloated feel- j : ing. Thus !>oth acid and fermentation in- ,J terfere with and retard the process of di, gestion. The stomach is usually healthy ! f and abnormal, but irritated almost past ' endurance by these foreign elements?acid j and wind. In all such cases?and they || comprise over 1J0 per cent of all stomach difficulties?the first and only step neces- ij sary is to neutralize the. acid and stop the fermentation by taking in a little warm | ! or cold water immediately after eating, jj ;; from one to two teaspoonfuls of bisurated j! magnesia, which is doubtless the best and j! only really effective antacid and food corm rective known. The acid will be neutrali|j ized and the fermentation stopped almost ; instantly, and your stomach will at once j 11 proceed to digest the food in a healthy, i j j normal manner. Be sure to ask your ii chemist for the bisurated magnesia, as I I! f|[ have found other forms utterly lacking jj I in its peculiarly valuable properties.? |l i F-J- li ack, Patent, White?Smart art Stockings from 50c up. t Co., 1343 F Attractive ve Your Health iters of health will tell you i essential to good health hat attractive, well kept sarance and personality. self right now?consult me : take many minutes of your penny of your money to gejt id vice as to the exact needs I will honestly and sincerely reat facts?the dental work tly and thoroughly without pain, and the charge will be have to pay any other firstand expense reduced every >nsult me about your teeth inge Easy Payment Terms Anchor Suction Teeth lless Dentist * worth's 5c and 10c Store ly One Office 1TKTII. 8 P.*.
