MISSION OF HEALING TO CLOSE TOMORROW Rev. Henry B. Wilson, Director of Society of the Nazarene, Dis continues Service. The mission of healing being con ducted by Rev. Henry B. Wilson, director of the Society of the Nas arene, at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, will close tomorrow with a healing service following the regular Sunday evening service. There will be no i healing service tonight or tomorrow morning, but Rev. Mr. Wilson will preach at the- 11 o'clock servico to morrow. ..... 1 Healing services, with the laying on of hands, have been conducted at St. | Mark's since last Sunday. Services I have been held morning and evening, and all of them have been well at 1 tended. It has been noticeable that a large percentage of the attendance has been persons of denominations other than the Episcopal. Every service brought new peni tents to the altar, it is stated, while those who had received the minis ter's blessing found themselves re newed in courage to flght their afflic tions. LONDON MINISTER TO TOUR AMERICA Trip of Dr. F. W. Norwood In cludes Addresses Here June 18 and 25. An extensive speaking: tour is to be made of the United State's by Dr. Frederick W. Norwood, minister of the London City Temple, which will Include addresses at first Congrega tional Church in this city June IS and 25. He is coming to this country in April primarily to exchange pulpits with Dr. Charles E. Jefferson of the Broadway Tabernacle, New York city. Dr. Norwood became famous through out the British army during the war as a preacher to the soldiers of his native country. Australia. During his two years' service as an army chap lain it is estimated that he addressed something like 300,000 Australians. After the war, while in Ix>ndon wait ing to return home, he was Invited ,-to preach at the City Temple. He created such a deep impresnion that when Dr. Joseph Fort Newton re signed the City Temple pastorate to accept a charge at the Church of the Divine Maternity in New York, I>r. Norwood was Invited to occupy this pulpit temporarily and later offered the pastorate, which he accepted. He was installed there in Novemb?r, 1919. The greater part of Dr. Norwood's i career has been in Australia. ' He was born In Bendlgo, Victoria, and began preaching at the age of seventeen. He has held three churches in Aus tralia', one at Canterbury, near Mel bourne; another at Brunswick, Mel bourne, and another at Adelaide, South Australia. It was in the nature of a "get together" session. The program included singing of familiar songs.
