Mrs. C. I. Crutchfield of Jackson ville, Fla., is visiting her sister. Mrs. James A. Edgar, at the Presidential apartments. She will remain In the Capital until the latter part of October. The marriage of Miss Mary Kath arine Little, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Franklin Little, to Mr. Jasper Marion Beall took place last evening at the Mount Vernon Methodist Epis copal Church, the Rev. E. V. Regesteg officiating. The church was decorated with palms and white cut flowers, with tho prie-dieu covered with white satin. The pews were marked with tall vases of white flowers. * After the ceremony there was a reception, fol lowed by dancing at the Washington Club. The bric]p. who was given in mar riage by h cjr father, wore a gown of soft white 'flat crepe made on long and straight lines and beaded 'with seed pearls and rhinestones. A court train of brocaded silver <*loth, the de sign outlined with pearls, and lined with shirred georgette, hung from the shoulders. Her veil of white tulle, held with a coronet of seed pearls, rhinestones and orange blossoms, fell l below the train. She carried while roses and lilies of the valley. Tho maid of honor. Miss Helen Burkhalter. wore a frock of orchid georgette, banded with silver ribbon. She wore a bandeau of silver leaves and carried a bouquet of pink brides maids roses. The bridesmaids. Miss Angela Lalor and Miss Edna Taylor, wore gowns fasljioned alike, the former of blue and the latter of corn color taffeta embroidered in silver roses, with sil ver-cloth bodices. Their hats matched their gowns and were made of chiffon and had long ribbon streamers. They carried large bouquets of Madame But terfly roses bordered with delphinium. Mr. Beall had as his best man his brother. Mr. Arthur L. Beall. The ushers were Mr. J. Monty Beall, Mr. Wilbur H. Eepp, Mr. Chauncey P. Car ter, Dr. H. Bond Bressler, Mr. Ray mond O. Moore and Mr. J. Franklin Little, Jr., of Norfolk. The drawing room of the club was banked with palms and ferns, and formed an attractive background for the bridal party, who received the guests. They were assisted in re ceiving by-Mrs. Littlle. mother of the bride, who wore a gown of beaded orchid georgette over silver cloth, trimmed with silver. She carried a fan of cream ostrich feathers. Immediately after the reception Mr. and Mrs. Beall left Atlantic City and the great lakes. Mrs. Beall wearing a coat dress of dark blue charmeen cloth, trimmed with braid, and a small blue hat to match. Upon their return they will reside at 1433 Spring road. Among the out-of-town guests were Miss Helen Burkhalter and Miss Frances Burkhalter of Savannah, Mr. Arthur L. Beall, of Philadelphia. Miss Mary Emily Peele of Norfolk, Mr. and Mrs. J. C.
