DAVIS OPENS FINAL DRIVE FOR ELECTION Leaves Tonight for Long Campaign Tour —Going to Border States. Hr the A-sneiated I’reas. LOCUST VAU.KY. N. Y. Septem ber 3n. —After three flays’ rest here. John \V. Davis. Democratic presiden tial nominee, will set forth tonight on the first lap of a campaign tour which will lake him as far west as Missouri, as far east as Massachusetts and as far south as Baltimore. Beginning his final drive for the presidency in the Fast tomorrow, he will end it in that territory during the last wed; in October. Between times he will make his second west ward swing, \isiting en route the "border" Stales of Kentucky ami Missouri. Leaving New York Citv at midnight tonight. Mr. I hois will speak tomor row j;t Frederick. Md. and tomor row night will deliver an address at Baltimore in the sth Regiment Arm ory. where Woodrow Wilson was nominal, d in 1!*12. A tentative schedule has been ar ranged. but many Changes probably will fie necessary. It is fairly well settled, however, that Mr. Davis will sp.v-k at Indianapolis October 11; Kansas City. Mo..
