SOCIETY. have arrived in Washington to attend the wedding of Miss Ethel Mae Combs, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George W. Combs, to Mr. John Hans la-uruing of New York, which will take place this evening in All Saints Episcopal Church, and are guests of Mr. and Mrs. D. C. White. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Newman have also arrived in Washington for the wedding and are guests of Mr. and Mrs. Combs, parents of the bride elect. The marriage of Miss Virginia Murl ray Fellows, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry A. Fellows, at Falls Church, Va-. to Mr. Edward O. Fen wick. will take place this evening at 8 o’clock, in the Old Falls Church Episcopal Church, and will be follow ed by a reception at the home of the bride’s parents. The ceremony will be performed by the Rev. R. A. Cas tleman. Mr. and Mrs. Harry S. Black, who opened their apartment in the Plaza, New York, a week ago, after spend ing the summer at Newport, went to White Sulphur Springs for an early Autumn visit.
