8 SOCIETY — President and Mrs. Coolidge Hosts at Dinner to Cabinet Members at White House Tonight. THE President and Mrs. Cool- i idge will give the first of their series of state enter tainments of the season at the White House tonight, when they will have to dine with them the President’s cabinet and the ladles of their families. There will be few other guests. A musical will be given following the dinner when the program will be presented by Albert Spalding, violin -Ist. and Ralph Errolle, tenor, with Andre Benoist accompanying each artist. The Ambassador of Belgium and Baroness de Cartier entertained at luncheon yesterday at the embassy in compliment to M. James Gustavus Whiteley, Belgian consul, in Balti more. who recently received the cross of Chevalier of the Order of Leopold. Senator and Mrs. Stanfield Introduce Their Daughter. Senator and Mrs. Robert Nelson Stanfield will present their daughter. Miss Barbara Stanfield, to society this afternoon at tea, from 4 to 7 o’clock, at Rauscher’s. Senator and Mrs. Stanfield and their daughter will receive, and the rooms will have a quantity of American beauty roses and palms and ferns, making a charming background for the debu tante. Mrs. Stanfield will wear peach color chiffon made on straight lines and daintily embroidered in gold. Miss Stanfield will be in pale French blue georgette crepe, made straight and without trimming, with fullness back and front and draperies of the geor gette falling below the hem line on each side. She will carry yellow roses arid blue iris. Alternating at the tea table will be Mrs. Arthur Capper. Mrs. John B. Kendrick. Mrs. Fred A. Britten. Mrs. Pirker W. West. Mrs. Lorenzo D. Gasser. Mrs. Ollie James. Mrs. Robert lyjve Taylor, Mrs. William Eric Fow ler and Mrs. Margaret Cowan. As sisting will be Miss Beatrice McLean, Miss Mary Treadwell, Miss Elizabeth Sutherland. Miss Franceska McKen nay. Miss Janet Moffett, Miss Eliza beth Zolnay and Miss Betty Byrne. Senator and Mrs. Sutherland will give a buffet supper this evening for those assisting this afternoon, with a number of additional guests.
