A resolution indorsing Mr. Esch for reappointment was adopted to President Coolldge. The President was requested “to again appoint Mr. Esch ana tight out the matter of principle, if it takes all Summer and part of next Winter.” The resolution asserted the Senate’s action had lowered the dignity of the most Important administrative commis sion of the Government. Army Equipment Bill Passed. The War Department would be re quired to maintain a reserve of supplies and equipment sufficiently for an Army of 1.000.000 men. under the Morin bill, passed by the House and sent to the Senate yesterday.
