RICHMOND, Va., ,!unr 5 .—Passenger air service, which will later have two round trips dally between Richmond and New York and week end service to Virginia Beach and return, will be gin June 15, it has been announced here by officials of the National Capital Airways, Inc., which will operate the service. The regular service calls for planes leaving Richmond daily for New York at 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.. and arriving at New York at 10 am. and 7:15 pm., respectively. Planes also will leave New York and arrive at Richmond at the same hours. The regular schedule as announced will not be put Into operation at oner, due to the fart that the factories are unable to deliver sufficient planes by- June 15. The service will be begun on , that date, however, with at least five planes. It. was stated. Additional planes will be delivered July 20 and August 1. at which time the regular schedule will I be begun, it was announced. The service will use Fokker universal monoplanes, equipped with Pratt-Whit ney wasp motors. Each plane will have spare for six passengers In an inclosed cabin, fitted with chairs of the parlor type Each plane will also have a lav atory and space for 200 to 400 pounds of luggage. The planes will carry two pilots, the craft having semi-double controls for emergencies. The planes will stop at Washington 1 each way at Hoover Field. Russell of this city, and the last surviving sister of Col. John 3. Mosby of Civil War fame, died at her residence, 1734 P street, Sunday after an illness of five weeks. Mrs. Russell's husband, who 'died about a ypar ago, was for nine years Assistant United States Attorney Gen eral and was Minister to Persia during President Taft’s administration. Surviving Mrs. Russell are a son, John Mosby Russell, lawyer, of New York, and a daughter, Mrs. Lucy Ogston of this city. Funeral services will be conducted in St. Ignatius’ Church. Baltimore, to- j morrow morning. Interment will be' in Holy Cross Cemetery there. MRS. D. A. KIGGINS DIES. Mrs. Delia A Kiggins, 84 years old.! widow of Capt. Michafl L. Kiggins, Union Army veteran, died at the home of her daughter. Mrs. S. Kiggins Terry of 4101 Harrison street, yesterday after a long illness. She had been a resident of this city for the past 48 years. She is survived by a son, John P. Kiggins, mayor of Vancouver, Wash., and by three daughters, Mrs. W. W. i White. Mrs. Terry and Miss Claire Kig gins, all of this city. Another son. the late Frank M. Kiggins, was at one time chief examiner of the Civil Service Commission, Private funeral services will be con ducted in the Nevius funeral home to morrow morning at 9:30 o’clock.
