Primitive Methodist Church With draws From Federal Council. PITTSBURGH. Pa., September 16 ()P). --Withdrawal of the Primitive Method ist Church of America from the Fed eral Council of Churches was effected at the eleventh quadrennial conference °f the church here last week. The withdrawal motion passed by two votes only, 26 to 24, after a lengthy discus sion. The attitudes of Dr.'S. Parkes Cad • man, Dr. Harry E. Fosdick and Bishop Francis J. In the opinion of the confer ence, too much stress was placed on social service by the Federal CouncU and not enough on evangelism. MAORIS SEAL PEACE.. Ceremony Marks Bnd of Breach With Germany.
