B-4 CENSUS WORKERS NAMED BY MORAN 396 Enumerators, Including Peake, Jail Superintendent, Will Start April 2. Names of the 396 enumerator* ap pointed to take the census of population In Washington next month were an nounced laat night by J. Sterling Moran, supervisor. The enumerators will work In the Various divisions of the city, coincident With the 14 precincts, starting on April 2. It is expected to take two weeks to finish the task. The nadirs include Lieut. Col. William L. Peake, superintendent of the District Jail, and Mi** Julia Denning, president Os the senior class at George Washing ton University. Mail Clerks Will Aid. It also was announced that an ar rangement has been made between the Commerce Department and the Post Office Department whereby the mail carriers who deliver mall from what is known as the Park Road Station will act as enumerators for the 28 enumera tion districts which conform to the boundaries of the Park Road Station. This station Includes the territory from Rock Creek along the south side of Quincy street to the Soldiers’ Home Grounds: thence south along the west side of Park place to Irving street, and west along the north side of Irving street to Rock Creek: thence north along Rock Creek to the intersection of Quincy street extended and Rock Creek.
