MRS. B. C. KEISTER EXPIRES AT HOME Doctor* Wife Wa* Active in Child Welfare Work in Virginia. Mrs. Laura H. Keister. 76. wife oi Dr. Bittle C. Keister, retired physician died yesterday at her home, 1338 Mon roe street. She had been 111 about three months. A native of Botetourt County, Va., Mrs. Keister for years was active in child welfare work in her native State and In Georgia. She was a charter member of the Civic Betterment Club of Roanoke. Va., where her husband was In charge of a hospital. Later she continued her Interest In civic and sanitation work In Savannah. Ga. The daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter ShacHer of Botetourt County, Mrs. Keister was educated at Marion Col lege. She and Dr. Keister were mar ried at South Boston, Va. Her only son. Dr. William 8. Keister, former public health officer of Prince Georges and Baltimore Counties In Maryland, died several years ago. Beside her husband, she Is survived by a daughter. Mrs. Helen K. Junlen of the Monroe street address, and two grandchildren. William 8. Jr., and George Bittle Keister. Dr. and Mrs. Keister had resided In Washington about 12 years. She was a member of Luther Place Memo rial Church. Funeral services will be held at Hines undertaking establishment to* morrow at 2 p.m. Burial will be In Cedar Hill Cemetery. HENRY cToLSeTrITES TO BE HELD TOMORROW Man Killed in Reno Wreck Will Be Buried in Arlington. Wife Brings Body. Mrs. Mina Olsen will arrive here tomorrow with the body of her hus band. Henry C. Olsen, 35, who was killed in an automobile crash near Reno, Nev., last Sunday, according to word received here. Arriving about 8 a.m. the body will be taken direct ly to Arlington National Cemetery. Military services will be held at 10:30 a.m., followed by «burial. Church services were also held Wednesday in Ogden, Utah. Mr. Olaen, a flight check observer for the Coast and Geodetic Survey, lived here at 1100 Twenty-fifth street. He was a World War veteran and an officer of the Army Reserve Corps. MRS. METCALF DIES AFTER LONG ILLNESS Wife of Government Official De scendant of Old Family in New England. Mrs. Haven Metcalf, wife of Dr. Haven Metcalf, chief of the office of i forest pathology of the Bureau of Plant Industry. Agriculture Depart ment, died early today at her home, 1223 Vermont avenue. She had been 111 for months. Mrs. Metcalf, a native of Nashua. N. H., was descended from the old New England family of David Holt, who settled In Newbury, Mass., in 1625. She was a graduate of Brown University and had experience In both teaching and in library work. Mrs. Metcalf had lived here many years and for some time taught art history at Miss Madeira's School for Girls. She was an accomplished linguist and student of art criticism , and had traveled extensively In this I country and abroad. She was a mem ber of the Twentieth Century Club and until her illness had been espe cially active in the club's French section. Besides her husband Mrs. Metcalf Is survived by several cousins.
