District Fire Department for more

tired soon for physical disability re
mlting from 13 injuries received in
flre-flghting. officials said yesterday.
Briggs, who is assigned to No. 16
Engine Company, was injured last
November In the blaze at the paint
shop of Hugh Reilly. He was dragged
from the place, but later returned to
the Are.
The Retiring and Relief Board Is
expected to recommend his retirement
in a report this week to the Commis
sioners.

The annual Spring flower show of
the Woodridge Garden Club will be
