Mr. and Mrs. Green were married May 17 at Berrien Springs, Mich., where Mrs. Green has for some time been at the head of the teacher train ing in the Emmanuel Missionary Col lege at Berrien Springs, and Mr. Green is manager and treasurer of the Washington Missionary College in Takoma Park. Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Waller of Clar endon. Va., are now occupying their new home, on Everett street, in Kens ington, Md. Mr. and Mrs. John Watt, the lat ter before her marriage March 21 at Elkton, Md., Miss Lydia Christine Bowman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John J. Bowman, are making their home at Fort Hunt, Va., where Mr. Watt is educational instructor at the C. C. C. camp there. Mrs. Carl Hendrick and Miss Na talie Colby of Manchester, N. H., who have been the guests of Mrs. Ida Hendrick and her daughters. Miss Lois Hendrick and Mrs. Rachel White, at their home in Ballston, Va., left last night by train for Pasadena, Calif., where they will join Mrs. Hendrick's son, Mr. Willis Hendrick. The marriage of Mr. Hendrick and Miss Colby will take place June 6 at the home of a relative, Mrs. Eugenia Woodbury, in Pasadena. Mr. Hendrick Is connected with the Douglass Air craft Co. and his bride will make their home in Santa Monica. The senior Mrs. Hendrick will return to her home in Manchester later in the season. Mr. and Mrs. Walter C. Carter of Herndon, Va., accompanied by their daughter, Mrs. Ralph Presgraves of Floris, Va., left by motor yesterday morning for Fort Worth, Tex., where they will remain for a visit of three weeks with their daughter, Miss Marian Carter. Mr. and Mrs. William George Watt entertained at a dinner party last evening in their home in Lyon Village In honor of the former’s brother and his bride. Mr. and Mrs. John T. Watt; also in celebration of the birthday anniversary of Miss Eleanor Watt. Miss Mary Powell of St. Louis has been a house guest of her sister, Mrs. A. L. Anderson, for the past week; another sister, Mrs. F. H. Mills, ar rived from Denver today to visit Mrs. Anderson. Mr. and Mrs. Bentley Harrison have had as their guests this week in their home in Herndon, Va., Mr. Tasker ' Mankin and Mr. Florenz Hinz of Washington, D. C.; Mr. Arthur Man kin, jr„ of Areola, Va.; Mr. Thomas Bernard of Rockymount, Va,, and Miss Glena Wayland of Culpeper. Va. Mr. and Mrs. Robert S. Pilgrim of Sligo Park Hills have leased a cottage at River Roads, Md., for July. Miss Sue Thomas, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick L. Thomas of "Tanglewood,” who has been spending the past few months in Europe, will sail for home early in June. Miss Thomas, who is a graduate of the class of 1935 of Swarthmore College, has been appointed assistant dean of Swarthmore for next year. The Misses Moore entertained Fri day morning at their home, Wendover. at a household shower in honor of their cousin, Miss Elizabeth Moore, whose marriage to Mr. Joseph Mitchell of Hockessin, Del., will take place at the home of her mother Saturday afternoon, June 6. Brunett has returned to Rockville after spending two weeks visiting her son-in-law and daughter. Lieut, and Mrs. William M. Callaghan, in Annapolis. Mr. and Mrs. George A.
