FRASER MADE HEAD OF NEW YORK BANK Elected President of First Na tional to Succeed Jackson Reynolds. B7 the Associated Press. NEW YORK, December 9.—Leon for International Settlements, was featerday elected president of the First National Bank of New York to succeed Jackson E. Reynolds, presi dent since 1922. Reynold* will remain with the bank in an advisory capacity, an announce ment by George F. Baker, chairman of the board, said. Reynolds’ resignation will become effective January 1, when Fraser, who has been a vice president for the last year, will take over. The First National Bank, with re sources of approximately $600,000,000, has long been one of the influential financial houses of the city. It was known as closely Identified with the J. P. FISH IS DENOUNCED FOR G. 0. P. ATTACKS Young Republicans’ Chairman Assails Fault-Finding by New Yorker. Br the Associated Press. HARTFORD, Conn., December 8.— J. Kenneth Bradley of Westport, na tional chairman of the Young Re publicans, criticized last night what he said was a fault-finding attitude toward the Republican .party on the part of United States Representative Hamilton Fish of New York. "At a recent dinner in New York City Representative Fish took occa sion to criticize National Chairman John Hamilton as an impossible re organization leader," Bradley said in a statement prepared for delivery at a meeting of the Conneticut Young Republicans’ Legislative Committee. "Mr. Fish,” Bradley asserted, “is only continuing his pre-campaign at titude of criticizing the Republican party and the Republican leaden. “A sound plan of action, honestly championed, would accomplish many of the things about which he talks. Attacks upon members of our own organization accomplish none of them. There are too many Republicans like Mr. Pish who talk about the faults of the Republican party but never do anything about them.” The Danish historian Troels Fred erik Troels-Lund was bom In Copen hagen in 1840.
