457 IN NAVY LIST 187 Lieutenants Selected for Grade of Lieutenant Commander. w President Roosevelt shortly will Iser^to the Senate for confirmation •the *ames of 457 officers of the Navy, lust chosen by a Selection Board for promotion. There are 187 lientenants picked for advancement to the grade of lieutenant commander and 270 Junior grade lieutenants recommend ed for promotion to the grade of lieutenant. Since March 8 the Selection Board has been sitting at the Navy Depart ment. Secretary Swanson convened it and named Rear Admiral Henry E. Lackey, director of the Shore Estab lishment's Division at the department, as its president. Among the lieutenants selected for promotion to the grade of lieutenant commander are George T. Boldizsar of Baltimore, Md.; William R. Terrell of Severna Park, Md.; Arthur L. Pleasants, jr., of Richmond, Va.; Worthington S. Bitler of Ivy Depot, Va.; Joseph N. Wenger of Bethesda, Md.: Thomas C. Evans of Baltimore; Albert C. Murdaugh of The Plains, Va.; Alfred C. Olney, jr., and Harry H. Keith of this city; Roland M. Huebl of Baltimore; Thayer T, Tucker of Baltimore; Peter W.
