‘SIMPLE GOSPEL’ Dr. John W. Rustin Will Dis cuss Theme Tomorrow Morning. Dr. John W. Rustin, pastor of Mount Vernon Place M. E. Church South, will preach tomorrow morning on "The Simple Gas pel" and in the •veiling on "Religious Certainty.” Mrs. Ida Rhodes Groover will speak on "A Council Writes a Creed” before the adult division. Dwight L. Crays will give a talk on "Is Brotherhood Possible?" at the 7 p.m. service of the younger adults. Members will join with Calvary Baptist, First Congregational and Na tional City Christian Church in a union Thanksgiving service at the National City Christian Church Thurs day at 11 a.m. The Relief Committee is arranging for the distribution of Thanksgiving baskets through Philip T. Harpine, chairman, and Mrs. J. D. Ford. The Mount Vernon School of Music will sponsor a series of four lectures on “Two Thousand Years of Music” in connection with the music appre ciation classes held each Tuesday at 5 pm. These lectures, covering the period dating from 400 B. C. up to and including the period of Bach, will be given by Edward C Potter, na tionally recognized musicologist, and he will illustrate with authenticated recordings.
